So...who am I? Well, as it says on the homepage, I am an 18 year old high school senior at Peabody High. I have been raising rabbits, guinea pigs, and various other animals since I was 7 years old. Right now I have 56 rabbits, 18 guinea pigs, 3 chinchillas, 2 cats, 2 dogs, 2 cockateils, 7 leopard geckos, 11 degus, 13 rats, 3 starfish, 1 pepperment shrimp, 1 mexican turbo snail, amd 3 damselfish. I know it sounds like alot, but this list pales in comparison to what I used to have. Over the years I have raised many different breeds of rabbit and cavy, ranging in size from tiny to huge.

Outside of the rabbit and cavy world I like to do anything outside. I'm a big fan of swimming, hiking, snowboarding, snowmobiling, and skiing. I love horsebackriding and fishing (as silly as that sounds). I have a really big family and an even bigger extended family and that's usually how I spend most of my time. I have three sisters Krissy, Lisa, and Lori. When I can't be outside I like to paint, draw, and sing. I love to read and I spend alot of time listening to music.

I am an active volunteer for the American Cancer Society and the Special Olymics. Through 4-H I do alot of community service for many different groups.

In 4-H, I am club President and the Cavy Specialist. I have been awarded the Mass 4-H Key Award, the Mass 4-H Overall Acheivement Award, and various other medals and awards. I am a member of the Essex County Rabbit & Cavy Breeders Association, and a 10 year Topsfield Fair volunteer.

I have been accepted to the Univeristy of Massachussets Amhert for the 2006-2007 school year, and I cannot wait to go! I am majoring in Animal Science and Pre-Vet, with the hopes of finishing school and becoming a Vet.

I think that the most influential person in my life would have to be my 4-H leader, Bonnie. She has known me since I was just a little girl, and she has seen my grow up and change in the 4-H community. Her help, dedication, and guidance has helped me find myself and realize my dreams. I cannot thank her enough for all of the time and love she puts into our club. She really makes it happen for me and all the other kids I know.
