A Little Bit About The Adoption Program....
Here at Stardust's Rabbitry & Caviary, we are dedicated to providing quality, loving homes to all of
the animals we sell. Along the same lines, we feel that all animals-- both big and small-- deserve to live with a loving,
caring family. Because of this, we are dedicated to taking in and placing healthy, happy animals into new, loving homes. Here
at Stardust's, we work exclusively with Great Scott's 4-H Rabbit & Cavy Club in providing quality care to abused, abandoned,
and otherwise unwanted rabbits and cavies.
All rabbits and cavies stay here no less than three weeks. All animals receive the proper dietary and behavioral
care according to their own individual needs. Most animals that come in are healthy enough to go off to their new homes within
one month of arriving. We take in many animals from the local community and surrounding areas as well.
If you have a rabbit or cavy that you do not want and no longer can care for, please email us and do the
right thing. Many people choose to dump or throw away unwanted animals, and this, just like abuse, is wrong and unfair. No
animal deserves to be treated like trash, and we do all that we can to try and save every animal that crosses our path.
As more animals come in, more need to go out. As of right now we have a few animals
that are looking for homes. There is a standard adoption fee that we ask for all of our rescue animals. All adoption
fees go directly back to the animals and Great Scott's 4-H Club. The adoption fees we take in help pay for the feed, cages,
and supplies required to finance such a taxing operation. Please take some time to read and learn about the rabbits and cavies

Sammie:
Sammie is a beautiful Harlequin Mini Lop buck. Sammie is about 2 years old, and has been a house bunny all
of his life. Sammie was surrendered because his owner felt that she could no longer provide him with the proper care. Sammie
is a little bit nervous about being picked up, but other than that he is very sweet and lovable. Sammie does seem to have
some kind of eye irritation and he will not be fully placed up for adoption until we know exactly why his eyes are irritated.

Cavies For Adoption:
Duke:
Duke is a 1 year old American or Mix bred guinea that was forced out of his home when his owner developed
an allergy to him. Duke is a very sweet guy, with one of the nicest personalities around. Duke is easy to handle and really
well behaved with pets and children. He loves to be held and he really enjoys the occasional banana.
